Mixing

Mixing is an art-form, and one that we know all about. Already recorded a great track but something extra? A great mix will help…

At The Motor Museum we provide a specialist mixing service, performed by Al Groves.

Aimed at artist who self-produce, this service allows them to still achieve outstanding sounding records ready for release.

A great mix is more than just adding effects. It’s about finding the most exciting elements of a song, in a way that connects with a listener on an emotional level. It can make or break a song, and transform how the listener interprets it. We looked at the traditional way studio’s provide this service, and came up with a list of how things should be done.

Unlike other mixing engineers, there is no limit the amount of tracks you can include, or the length - sessions can be attended or carried out remotely, at no extra charge.

All Al’s mixes include a reference mix, Main mix (high resolution, for mastering), instrumental, and mix stems. All mixes also include one hour of revisions at no extra charge, and Al works with clients to build a brief for the mix, and crafts a mix that achieves these goals.

So if you are a self producing artist, or just have a mix that you are not happy with, drop us a line.
